Each translation is personally performed or reviewed by Ashley B. Adams, MA, CT, who is a Spanish > English translator certified by the American Translators Association (ATA).
With more than twenty years of experience as a full-time professional translator, Ashley specializes in certified translations for individuals, businesses, and institutions.
For individual clients, Ashley frequently translates academic documents, such as diplomas and transcripts, and other official documents, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and identity documents.
Clients rely on these translations for university applications, professional licensing, immigration proceedings, and other important purposes. Ashley understands that universities, government agencies, and other recipients often have specific requirements for translated documents—from formatting and certification to notarization and delivery specifications. She works with clients to ensure these requirements are met and their translations are accepted.
For business clients, Ashley has extensive experience translating for companies across diverse industries—including law firms, pharmaceutical companies, airlines, and other industries. Working both directly with clients and through translation agencies, she delivers translations of legal documents, corporate policies, marketing materials, and more.

Before establishing A. A. Language Services, L.L.C., Ashley earned a master’s degree in translation from Kent State University. She started her career as an in-house legal translator at Antiquariat Literary Services, Inc., an agency that provided translation and other language services.
Ashley is based in Washington, D.C. and is a member of the American Translators Association and the National Capital Area Translators Association.
